Silencio’s original material presented in this collection was directly inspired by the catalog of original David Lynch film soundtracks. The songs (mostly instrumental) are wide ranging, covering noir-jazz, sock-hop ballad, ambient soundscape, latin lounge & twangabilly. The intention is that these pieces fit a listening occasion in much the same way that both Mr. Lynch and Mr. Badalamenti had intended for their own mysterious film accompaniments.
